Hydrangea Explosion ...

The customer loved our Hydrangea Cupcakes on the Cake Angels website so much that she ordered them for a friend's surprise wedding !  With only a few days notice, it was all go in the Cake Angels kitchen as hundreds of mini Hydrangea Gumpaste Flowers were created in shades of Pink, Purple and Blue.  Little Leaves were made to offset the Hydrangea explosion for the top of the each Cupcake.

Blue and White Butterfly Cupcakes

Turquoise blue is the favourite colour of this young lady and so for her 10th Birthday Party she ordered Cupcakes with a turquoise blue theme.  We think they are just delightful.

Hydrangea Cupcakes

The ever-changing colours of Hydrangeas towards the end of Summer, were the inspiration for the theme of these Cupcakes for a special lady celebrating her 75th Birthday. They also happen to be one of the Cake Angels favourite flowers.

Flat Cupcakes

In the Cake Angels kitchen this week, we were baking some Cupcakes...

When we took them out of the oven, we thought they looked a little flatter than usual.  Of course, Cupcakes don't always have to come in a paper case with nice rounded tops covered in beautifully piped buttercream, flat ones are easier to decorate.  What do you think???

We think Cupcake Cookies can be just as cute as regular Cupcakes.
